Walk at the Centre

Cold temperatures and blowing snow are a given where we live. So when it’s too cold to take your regular walk outside, head to the Centre! From October through March, Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM, the Centre gymnasium is a warm and FREE place to walk.

All are welcome, we just need you to fill out a day pass form and we’ll give you a wristband to come in and walk. So bring a friend and bring your walking shoes, we guarantee it will always be above freezing at the Centre. For additional information contact the Centre at 715-246-2252.

Advanced Yoga II Small Group Training

This class will focus on continuing to develop skills learned in Advanced Yoga Asana as well as introducing more advanced flows. Learn progressions toward mastering advanced yoga poses such as headstand, forearm balance, crow pose, and firefly with Personal Trainer, Melissa Platson. The small class setting will allow for more individualized instruction and personalized assistance in achieving these difficult poses. Some yoga experience is necessary, along with a strong desire to tackle these challenging poses. This class is not suitable for beginners or anyone with ongoing neck, back, or shoulder injuries. Advanced Yoga Asana is not a prerequisite to take this class, but participants should be comfortable with basic yoga poses.

Strength & Interval Small Group Training

Are you looking for a jumpstart to your fitness program? Need some motivation? Could you use a little push and some friendly encouragement? Strength and Interval Training is a six week fitness program that offers work out instruction and tons of motivation. The workouts vary, making your experience fun and inspiring. Kristi Pupak, Personal Training Manager, will lead you through challenging yet exciting workouts at your own pace. Activities such as TRX, strength training, circuit training, Kettlebells, sport drills, intervals, and more will keep you challenged.

Barre Small Group Training

Barre is one of the hottest fitness trends right now! Sign up for this 6 week small group training with Personal Trainer, Melissa. Strengthen and tone muscles of your core, hips, and glutes using ballet techniques along with resistance training and cardio blasts. Regular Barre classes will help improve your posture, muscle tone, strength, and balance. We will focus on lighter resistance and higher reps to really feel the burn and fire up our muscles!

National American Diabetes Association Alert Day

American Diabetes Association Alert Day is March 27, 2018. A day to sound the alarm about the prevalence of Type 2 Diabetes and learn about your risks and ways you can prevent diabetes with a screening by a registered nurse Certified Diabetes Educator followed with a nutrition class facilitated by a registered dietitian.

Plank Challenge

The plank is one of the best core exercises you can do! Not only do they work your abs, but they also work your glutes and quads if done correctly! Follow the challenge each day for a different plank routine with the goal of a super strong core at the end.

1000lb Club

Think you can lift a total of 1000 pounds between 3 different lifts? We will add together your total weight from all 3 lifts so bench, squat, and deadlift your way to the 1000 pound club! Schedule a day during the week of April 2 - 6 to Max Out with a trainer and see if you can reach your goal and be featured on our 1000 pound club board in the fitness hallway!

NETA Group Exercise Certification

The New Richmond Area Centre and NETA, a non-profit fitness professional association, are co-sponsoring the following nationally-recognized workshop. Potential and current fitness instructors will learn basic academic and practical application of teaching group exercise. No college, science, or teaching background is required. Workshop registration includes a full-day review, written exam, and 2-year certification.

Couples Bridal Boot Camp
