Potlucks for Seniors

Come and join us for a great potluck lunch and a special guest speaker every second Friday of each month.  The potluck will run from 11:45 AM - 1:30 PM and is FREE for seniors in our community.

February 10 - Be Good to your Heart

Registered dietitian Linda Stefonek will present a cooking demonstration that will give you ideas on how to eat well and love your heart!

March 9 - What to do in an Emergency

Dr. Tenner will explain the importance of visiting the nearest ER in an emergency, as well as the emergency capabilities of Westfields Hospital.

April 13 - Caregiver Support

Social worker Suzanne Ballantyne will provide information for those caring for elderly parents or those struggling to find resources to keep parents safe at home.

May 11 - Be informed: Heart Attacks and Strokes

Dr. Marty Richards will go over the early warning signs of strokes and heart attacks, as well as prevention methods.  Be informed on these important topics.

June 8 - Taking Care of Yourself - Wound Care

Registered Nurse Sally Studer will present on safety measures you can take to avoid developing wounds, as well as how to prevent current wounds from worsening.
